Ripon junior Nick Sharp shot a 1-over 36 during Thursday’s Trans Valley League victory over visiting Riverbank at the Spring Creek Golf & Country Club.

Despite Sharp only hitting one fairway, he still helped Ripon combine for a 215 and Riverbank lost via forfeit.

“(Nick) scrambled really well today,” Ripon head coach Chris Musseman said.

Anthony Matthews shot a 42 and Nathan Suender and Michael Miller both carded 45s. Robbie Figeroid rounded out the Ripon total with a 47, while Riverbank’s Casey Floyd led his club with a 44.

Ripon improved to 8-0 in the TVL, 9-0 overall and has a double match on Tuesday against Orestimba at Diablo Grande. The Indians will host Hilmar next Thursday.
