Panel discussion on fracking and global warming on Thursday

David Marks will be leading a panel discussion at the Manteca Patriots meeting on Thursday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Chez Shari at the Manteca Golf Course. 

The panel discussion will cover the truths about CO2 and how environmentalists use Global Warming to halt fracking. Joining Marks will be John McDonald and Eric Eisenhammer. McDonald will cover the effects of environmental policy on businesses and how fracking can reduce the high cost to conducting business in California. Eisenhammer will cover the issues surrounding fracking and sensible energy policies. The forum is free and open to the public.

Marks, an engineer by trade, has analyzed the environmentalists’ argument on climate change from a scientific point of view, and will be presenting on his own findings into the flaws in their methodology. The scientific “consensus” on climate change may not be as well-grounded as it is claimed to be. 

Marks is one of the founding Board members of the Manteca Patriots. He earned his AA degree from Sawyer College, BSEE with a minor in math from CSU Fresno, and his MBA in operations from CSU Stanislaus. He has taught courses at ITT Tech and as an adjunct professor at CSU-Stanislaus.

McDonald is the vice president of marketing for Silego Technology, Inc., a semiconductor company headquartered in Santa Clara. He came to Silego in early 2008 to lead the turn-around of Silego to be
