Fifty athletes have already entered the 2010 Manteca Senior Games taking place May 8-15.

“Interest is way up over last year,” noted Linda Abeldt, executive director of the Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Last year the inaugural Manteca Senior Games attracted 300 participants plus their spouses.

The games this year include softball, basketball, volleyball, martial arts, BMX, tennis, pickle ball, track and field events, as well as dancing.
