Forced estate sale thanks to ADA suit at Barnwood in Ripon

Perhaps Carmichael-based attorney Scott Johnson will drop by the Barnwood Restaurant in Ripon this Friday or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to see if he can pick up a bargain.

That’s when the owners are conducting an estate sale after being forced to close when Johnson slapped them with an oppressive lawsuit alleging numerous and expensive Americans with Disabilities compliance issues. 

Janet Dyk of Magpie Antiques (209.480.6104) is conducting the estate sale taking place at the restaurant along Highway 99 at 338 East Main St. in Ripon
