The 11th annual JROTC Drill and Ceremony Competition is planned Saturday at East Union High.

Instructor and organizer Karl Knutsen is expecting anywhere from 10 to 12 schools in the competition, including Manteca, Sierra, Weston Ranch, Lathrop, Ripon, McLane (Fresno), Encinal (Alameda), and host East Union.

Plans also call for schools to enter their top three boy and girl athletes in the obstacle course competition.
