MODESTO – Get ready to “wag and wiggle” at the Gallo Center to Raggs Live! Dance Party, starring the colorful cast from “Raggs,” the hit public television series.

The Sunday, March 7, production includes Modesto native Jason Priest as Director of Touring and Producer. The rockin’ group of furry canine characters will perform one high-energy, interactive 90-minute show at 2 p.m., encouraging preschoolers—and the entire family-to sing and dance-a-long.

Tickets for the concert range from $5 to $25. A 15% discount is available for groups of 15 or more.  For tickets or more information, visit www.galloarts.org or call (209) 338-2100.

The Raggs Band, including Raggs, Trilby, Pido, B. Max and Razzles, will perform a dozen of their hit songs including: “What’s the Dealio?,” “Stand Back, Brain Attack” and “Pawsuuup!” In a friendly competition, the characters work together to find the best songs and cool moves for their dance party. Kids’ favorite wise-cracking cat, Dumpster, stops by to add his not-so-helpful hints!

Based on the music and curriculum-centric TV show, the charismatic characters impart subtle messages about the power of friendship, respect and cooperation while demonstrating how much fun it is to get up and move your body.

The Raggs Band has performed more than 4,000 live concerts around the world, including stops in Europe, Asia and Australia. In addition, “Raggs” now airs in over 175 countries including Singapore, Ireland, Australia, India, South Africa and Israel.
