Pay traffic fines via web or phone

STOCKTON - The Superior Court of California, County of San Joaquin is launching newly enhanced traffic payment services beginning Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 9 a.m.

Starting at that time the public will be able to pay their traffic citations on-line by visiting the court’s website at www.stocktoncourt.org. The public can also pay their citations via telephone by calling (877) 872-0476.

These systems are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allow the public to:
•Pay traffic citations.
•Request an extension to pay traffic citations.
•Sign-up for traffic school.
•Obtain general court information (small claims, civil, passports, court locations, business hours, etc.) via the phone system only.

To use either the on-line or telephone payment system, you must have already received your courtesy notice. When paying with a credit card, a transaction fee will be applied to your total amount due.
