He leaves his wife of 25 years, Irene Correa of Moreno Valley, California; his son, Andrew Correa of Cambridge, Massachusetts; his son, Julian Correa of Berkeley; his mother, Lorene Correa of Manteca; his brother, Dennis (Cheryl) Correa of Tahoe City; his brother, Joseph (Chelley) Correa of Anchorage, Alaska; his sister, Jeanne Correa of Manteca; three nephews, Matthew (Sarah) Correa of Kings Beach, Vincent (Kara) Correa of Irvine, and Samuel Correa of Tucson, Arizona; two nieces, Sarah (John) Holster and Hillary Correa of Tahoe City; three great nieces; and many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, James C. Correa.
Thomas graduated from Manteca High School in 1967; he attended California State University, Long Beach, graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He met his future wife, Irene, in Wurzburg, Germany while employed overseas as a civil servant and married in the spring of 1984.
Thomas’ professional career spanned over 35 years, providing engineering services as a civil servant for the US Government. He will be remembered as a reserved man who loved his family unconditionally.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial celebration of Thomas’ life at noon on Saturday, March 13, at the home of his mother, Lorene Correa. Mr. Correa’s arrangements are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca.
