Rikkie Rose Richichi of Manteca and Joey Alves Esteves of Ripon, are announcing their engagement and plans to wed on October 23, 2010 in Oakdale.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lisa Richichi and the late Richard Richichi Jr. of Manteca. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Janet Richichi of West Point and Bob and Eva Herzfeld of Spokane, Missouri. Her sisters are Stephanie and Tiffanie Richichi of Manteca.

Rikkie is employed at Wal Mart.

The benedict-elect is the son of Joe and Jorgelina Esteves of Ripon. He is the grandson of Maria Alves and the late Antonio Alves of Elk Grove and Noemia Esteves and the late John Esteves of Ripon. His sisters are Susie Toste of Manteca and Angela Esteves of Ripon.

Joey graduated from East Union High School. He is employed at Johnny’s Plumbing & Construction.

The couple announced their engagement on Sept. 19, 2009.
