Jason Giles, 25, has been arrested a third time as he awaits a jail reporting date to serve out a 90-day sentence for auto burglaries and possession of stolen property - a total of six felonies, police said.

Ripon Police officer Stephen Meece stopped the Manteca man from walking away from his car shortly before 9 p.m. that was parked on the East Highway 99 Frontage Road and Stockton Avenue Saturday night.

Meece reportedly found psilocybin and marijuana in his vehicle.

It was just two days earlier that Ripon officer Arlene Wells stopped Giles’ vehicle she said was speeding on the same frontage Road.  She arrested him for possession of drugs and a crack pipe.  He was taken to the county jail but quickly released.

Giles, who has continually been released from jail, was sent to the San Joaquin County Jail Saturday night where he remained on Monday in lieu of $10,000 bail.  He had also been stopped in Manteca last Tuesday and searched for possession of drugs and burglary tools by Manteca officers. However, nothing was found.
