If you enjoyed the entertainment at the  Crossroads Street Faire last weekend, you’ll have an opportunity for encore performances today at GK Music’s grand opening event starting at noon.

Braata, Zephyr, Neon Ink, the GK Music Jazz Combo, the GK Music Rock Band and solo performers, Chelsea Jordan, Amanda Gray, Callie Camper, Brieanne Jansen, Ben Tolman, Amanda Armstrong and Elle Lewis will be on hand to entertain. Alex Bent will also be giving a Blast Beat and Double Bass demonstration.

Come out for live music and free BBQ and stick around to win an acoustic guitar package valued at $349. There will be a winner every hour from noon to 5 p.m. for various other prizes, including one month of free lesson certificates. After enjoying a burger and a hot dog, feel free to take a tour of GK Music’s studios, rehearsal room and all-digital recording suite. You’ll also get a chance to meet with the teachers and learn about, or sign up for, any one of their up and coming programs, including Horizon Summer Band 2010.

GK Music also offers private lessons, jazz band and choir programs. Mark Hatchfield will also be on hand to answer questions about recording.
The event takes place at 572 Commerce Court behind Home Depot today.

You can call GK Music at (209) 923-4121 with any questions or visit them at their web site: gk.gkmusic.org.
