Allen and Patricia Franscella celebrated their 50th anniversary at the American Legion Hall in Ripon in August 2009. The former Patricia Mills and Allen Franscella were married on November 28, 1959 in Ripon. They have lived in Manteca for 50 years.

The celebration was hosted by their children, Sandy Christenson and husband Chris of Manteca, Debbie Cronin and husband Stan of Helena, Montana, Allen Franscella and wife Nancy, and Matthew Franscella of Manteca and their granddaughters Amy Pfister, Kelsey Christenson and Shelby Christenson. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Colors of gold and pink adorned the hall as 70 guests participated in the festivities.

Allen is employed at Safeway Distribution Center in Tracy. Pat is retired.
