Two Manteca men – one 56 and the other 60 – were assaulted, pistol whipped and robbed at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 200 block of North Main Street and forced to take money out of their ATM accounts at about 8 p.m. Friday.
The victims told police they were assaulted by three men – one black and two Hispanics – as they approached the ATM machine.  The trio wore hoodies and had their faces covered with masks standing about six feet tall with their weight estimated to be about 200 pounds each.
The first victim had a gun pointed to his head and forced to withdraw money before being pistol whipped to the ground that ended up being covered with blood.
The second victim was then  taken to the second ATM and ordered to take money out of his account as well.
The thieves were last seen running through the parking lot toward the alley behind the bank.
