In a tropical setting at the Cariblue Resort in Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, Gayle Taffy Day and Damon Knight were united in marriage on April 1, 2010. In attendance were Taffy’s daughter Susan Penny Watne of Grecia, Costa Rica, her son Stephen Thayer of San Luis Obispo, Cal., and Susan Penny’s husband Marshall and children Brooke and Marshall Dune.

The couple honeymooned throughout Costa Rica with family and friends and have just returned to Damon’s home in Manteca, where they will resume their active lives.
