All T’Wolves in route over East Union

The Sierra Timberwolves were able to do just about everything right, handing the East Union Lancers a convincing 11-5 loss Wednesday in Valley Oak League action.

Sierra (12-2 VOL, 18-2 overall) got 3 for 4 afternoons from Jackie DeAnda and Brianne Lenoci, with DeAnda driving in a run and scoring three times. Lenoci drove in a pair with a double and came around to score a run. Lilly Gonzalez was 2 for 5 for Sierra, while Shelby Shiron finished 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI.

The Timberwolves will try and close out the regular season in style when they play host to the Weston Ranch Cougars at 4 p.m. and the Manteca Buffaloes on Friday.

Sierra 14, Lathrop 4
The Timberwolves had little trouble exposing the Spartans, walking off with an easy 14-4 VOL win Wednesday at Sierra.

Dominic Alejandre handled the pitching for Sierra, going the distance in the win.

Sierra will be back on the diamond at 4 p.m. when they meet up with the East Union Lancers for the season finale.
