Yvonne Vincent 73, entered into rest on August 8, 2017.  She was born in Stockton on April 19, 1944 to parents of the late Fred and Irene Lane. She attended elementary school at L. Grunsky and was in the first graduating class at Alfonso Stagg High School.
She worked in Stockton for Hartford Insurance 1040 building. She moved to a privately owned insurance agency in Ripon. She met her future husband George who was a current customer of the insurance company and married George in 1974. She retired from the Ripon insurance company and went to work for Contel telephone company in Manteca as a service rep.  She worked for 15 years and was given the golden hand shake when Contel was bought out by Verizon. Early retirement gave her room to travel to Lake Tahoe, and Reno to play the video poker machines and slot tournaments.  She loved to win any amount of money to spend on Department 56 collections.  She enjoyed the 2nd home in Pebble Beach, strolling on the beach, enjoying the ocean and eating at the five star restaurants.  Yvonne loved the Carmel area so much she taught her cat Darcy how to walk on a leash around the neighborhood.
Her dedication to holidays could be seen in any room in the house.  She loved to decorate for all major holidays. Her two favorite were Christmas and Halloween.  She had seven themed Christmas trees throughout the house.  Her two favorite trees were full of Precious Moments.  She had every ornament ever made hanging on the tree. Her next was the black tree with white lights displaying lead crystal ornaments. She was a dedicated collector of Department 56 and would travel all over the United States for gatherings.
She is survived by her loving husband George of 43 years, step son Scott (Chris), Todd (Ali), six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is a beloved grandma, great grandma, aunt, neighbor and friend.
   Private interment.
