Crystal Burcham and James Petersen have announced their plans to wed on October 2, 2010. They will get married at the Sunnyside Resort in Tahoe City.

James proposed to Crystal in September on their balcony that overlooked the ocean at the Hotel Pacific in Monterey.

Crystal is the daughter of Lynn and Todd Ah Yo of Manteca. Her sister is Casi Burcham of Tracy and her brother is Christopher Ah Yo of Manteca. She is a graduate of Chico State University and is an elementary school teacher.

James is the son of Dan and Saltong Petersen of Las Vegas, Nevada. His sister is Bobbie Gomez of San Diego. He is employed by the City of Modesto in the Traffic Operations Department.

They will be taking a cruise to Mexico for their honeymoon.
