Tracy 6, East Union 5

In Tracy, the Squires (3-1) couldn’t hold onto an early 5-0 lead and gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh for their first loss of the season.

“We got short on pitching and it showed,” East Union coach Mike James said. “We played tough. I liked what (starting pitcher) Colby Seibel did for us today — he was nails.”

Seibel gave up one run on one hit and two walks in 4 2/3 innings. Justin Dias highlighted the offense with two RBIs.
