Emily Crutchfield, 8, went to service clubs in Manteca and Tracy bringing in a grand total of $1,066 that she added to the total at the Manteca Bowl and Fun Center. She is getting a Wii for her fund raising efforts.
Dillon Della-Nina was the second highest fund raiser with $675 - $250 of that was his own money that he received for Christmas and for his birthday. Dillon, 9, is a third grader at Walter Woodward Elementary School.
He said he felt adults didn’t have enough extra money to donate and he wanted to help.
Leah Ratzlaff, 9, is a fourth grader at Veritas School. She collected $610 in support of the GECAC program.
The three GECAC students were part of a team of five who brought in all the monies. Jaime Anderson is the director of the group’s tutoring efforts at the facility. They also received special electronic gifts and CDs for raising so much money in the fund raiser.
