RIPON — The last day of June will mark the 40th anniversary of ENGEO Incorporated (ENGEO), a 120-person geotechnical, environmental and hydrologic engineering firm.

Each regional office celebrated independently by holding a party or open house special to their area; ENGEO’s Ripon office was no exception. They celebrated May 12 by holding a Client Appreciation event at the Stockton Ports baseball game. The group enjoyed an ENGEO-hosted bar and BBQ while watching the game from the Jackson Rancheria Back Porch in right field. ENGEO has been serving the Central Valley with engineering consulting services for almost 15 years. They have been in Ripon for 5 years, having moved their office from Tracy in 2006.

ENGEO has a lot to celebrate, having been recognized as a best place to work both locally and nationally since 2005, and for their award-winning engineering projects, as well as giving back to the communities in which ENGEO’s employees live and work.

ENGEO has experienced growth and profitability over the past year and is working on exciting projects throughout the country. The firm has engaged in proactive measures to reduce operational costs, preserve livelihood by retaining staff in the face of the economic downturn, and improve the quality of life for employees. The firm is committed to maintaining a close-knit atmosphere and a stimulating work environment. ENGEO offers comprehensive training, coaching, mentorship, and actively promotes involvement of all employees in important decisions of the firm. Through a combination of small committees, after-work activities, and an open-door policy, the firm is committed to providing each employee with a voice and a strong connection to the team.

Founded in 1971, ENGEO is an employee-owned firm of geotechnical and civil engineers, geologists, hydrologists, environmental professionals and construction services technicians and has offices throughout California. ENGEO serves a diverse range of public and private clients in the United States and abroad through projects in transportation, infrastructure, water resources, geologic hazards, flood control, energy, industrial development, manufacturing, critical facilities, residential and mixed-use communities, urban infill, Brownfields and transit oriented developments.
