Larry M. Wurzburger, 56, entered into rest on March 23, 2009 in Santa Rosa. He was born on June 5, 1952 in Brooklyn New York to Mr. and Mrs.Leslie “Les” and Yolande Wurzburger. He was a resident of Newark, California since 1960. He is preceded in death by his Mother Yolande Wurzburger.

Larry is survived by his father Les Wurzburger of Santa Rosa, Ca. His children are Shane James Wurzburger of Oklahoma, Michelle Wurzburger and companion Robert Solorio of Union City, and Christina Long and husband Scott of Mississippi. He has 3 siblings; Ronald Wurzburger of Idaho, Dan Wurzburger and wife Tina of Ione, and Diane Sliva and husband Bob of Manteca. In addition he was blessed by 5 grandchildren.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from1971 to 1974 and was stationed in Philippines and Japan. Larry retired after 38 years of service as an electrician. He enjoyed fishing especially off the Delta Bridge and camping. He spent all of his extra time in the outdoors. His grandchildren were his life; they meant the world to him. Larry was a hard worker and very trustworthy. He will be remembered as a funny man who was always full of life.
