Colleen Ritchie McDonald, 70, passed away at her Manteca home on Dec. 26.

She was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Boynton, Oklahoma.

Colleen is survived by hr husband of 52 years, James McDonald.

She is also survived by children Jim McDonald and wife Cheryl Patzer, Sacramento, and Carla Duarte, Manteca;  brother Arlanda Ritchie and wife, Margaret of Clovis, Wanda Helsby of Stockton, and Wanett Packer of Manteca; and grandchildren Jake McDonald, Sam McDonald, and Alex Duarte.

Colleen worked as an account payables clerk for Watts Equipment Company in Manteca since 1994.  Prior she had worked for Dana Corporation in Manteca for 19 years and for Sharpe Army Depot for 12 years.  She was a member of the Lathrop Brethren Church.  She enjoyed playing family card games.  She loved to take trips to Monterey.

Visitation is Monday, Dec. 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home.

Chapel service is Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home.

Final resting place is Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA, 95204.
