Three brothers serving in the armed services during the Vietnam conflict included Danny Cabrera Jr. who was stationed on the Outagamie County LST 1073 and Tony Cabrera who was aboard the USS Polk County LST 1048 in San Diego.
Louis Cabrera entered the Army in July of 1970 and was stationed in Okinawa from 1970 until 1972 as an ammo records clerk with the rank of E-4. He was a 1968 Escalon High School grad.
