Girls who didn’t want to spend a small fortune on their prom or graduation dress got a chance to save some money when the Sierra High School Sober Grad Committee conducted its first annual “gently used” prom dress fundraiser Saturday in the school’s drama room. The committee offered slightly-used formal and semi-formal dresses at discount prices to raise funds for their safe and sober after graduation celebration. People who donated a dress could get either 40% of whatever their dress sells for or donate the entire sale price to the Sober Grad Committee fundraiser and receive a 100% tax write-off.
