The City of Manteca is offering free shredding of personal documents as well as a free e-waste collection  on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 210 E. Wetmore just a block east of the traffic signals at South Main Street.

You can also drop off your computers, TVs, microwave ovens VCRs, DVD players, stereos, computer equipment, radios, small household appliances and cell phones between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to have them recycled for free.

It is illegal to toss those items into your garbage.
