I just read your column (“College makes federal case out of praying in faculty office” April 13 by Dennis Wyatt). Excellent job. In addition to great writing, including creativity and good analogies, you picked up the essence of this case, which is why I took this on as attorney for the plaintiffs - prayer is a basic fundamental right of free speech and expression, not per se disruptive behavior that can be snuffed out by state actors hostile to religion.
So far, so good. Hopefully we can get a victory for reason and basic fundamental liberties on California college campuses.
