STOCKTON — Don’t believe everything you hear. Companies are actively recruiting right here in the Central Valley. Stockton’s Diversity HIREvent is Tuesday, May 19, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Stockton Hilton Grand Hotel.

Over a dozen companies will be looking to fill hundreds of openings at this free event.

Jobseekers can speak directly to area recruiters, all with a variety of immediate hiring needs. Career opportunities are in the fields of public safety, management, marketing, administrative, law enforcement, customer service, and more.

Attendees can also visit with a Career Specialist during the event for free tips on how to make the most of their resume. Jobseekers should dress professionally, bring plenty of resumes, and speak to each company at the fair.
