Cheer Stars end season at Aloha Spirit in Honolulu

Cheer Stars ended their season at Nationals that took place April 3-4  in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Cheer Stars were broken up into four teams – two cheer teams and two hip hop teams - all coached by owner Harmony Flores. They competed at the Waikiki Shell both days.  

All four teams have been working all season for this national event dubbed Aloha Spirit.  Cheer Stars practices twice a week and attends five Regional competitions to get them ready for the nationals  Teams came from Hawaii, California, Idaho, Canada, and Australia to compete in the two-day event.  Cheer Stars had a great showing and was awarded:  Youth Level 2 Cheer placed 2nd overall, Senior Level 2 Cheer placed 1st overall, Senior Open Dance placed 1st overall, and Youth Hip Hop placed 1st overall and received Most Entertaining out off all the teams for the weekend.  

Cheer Stars is currently holding sign-ups for their 2009-2010 cheer season.  They offer cheer, hip hop and pom teams.  It is open to ages 4 to 18 and all levels may sign up for teams and everyone that signs up makes a team.  The season starts first week of May.
