MILPITAS  (AP) — SanDisk Corp., which makes flash memory, on Wednesday said that it had acquired FlashSoft Corp., a venture-funded startup that makes software that helps speed up servers with flash memory.

Milpitas, Calif.-based SanDisk didn't reveal how much it paid, but said it doesn't expect the acquisition to affect earnings this year and will start adding to earnings next year.
