The Manteca Branch Library  celebrates Día de los Niños with music, dance, bi-lingual storytelling, craft activities, and book giveaways today from  noon to 3 p.m.

Dia De Los Ninos, translated as Day of the Child, was designed to promote reading and literacy for children of all backgrounds; with a strong focus on the Latino cultures of the United States.

Ballet Folklorico Autlense will perform at 2 p.m.

In addition local organizations will also provide information to families about topics such as health care, child care, and education.

This program is made possible by a grant from Target Corporation and a donation from the Friends of the Stockton Public Library. The  Manteca Branch Library is  part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library system, a division of Community Services.
