The Manteca’s VFW Post 6311 & Ladies Auxiliary will be offering Buddy Poppies on Friday and Saturday, May 8 & 9. They will be available at various locations throughout Manteca including Bass Pro Shop, the Post Office on Maple Street, Raley’s and Save Mart on Main Street.

Buddy Poppies are assembled by needy and disabled veterans in VA Hospitals. All proceeds benefit veterans’ assistance programs, including the VFW National Home for orphans and widows of our nations’ veterans.

They would greatly appreciate your support for this fundraiser. Please visit one of these locations or contact Post Commander or Auxiliary President to make a direct donation. They would like to thank the merchants in advance for allowing us to use their premises for our fundraiser and their continued support for our veterans and troops.
