Tribute to the Blues Brothers on stage at Gallo

MODESTO – The Gallo Center for the Arts will bring The All New Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers to Modesto for two performances on Friday, March 30, and Saturday, March 31, at 8 p.m.

Live on stage, Jake and Elwood turn up the heat with rhythm ‘n’ blues hits like “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love,” “Soul Man,” and “Think,” from the blockbuster movie.

After a stunning 2010 UK tour, the legendary West End smash hit The All New Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers is back by popular demand in 2012. Visiting venues across the country, this ‘all-new’ production presents all of the classic moments from the original hit West End show and more.

The Blues Brothers were founded in 1978 by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live. The Hollywood film, created around these characters, was released in 1980.
