Q: What’s your favorite aspect of your job at the Turlock Golf and Country Club?

A: “Variety every day, the outside tournaments to memberships.”

Q: Who is your favorite group of players to instruct?

A: “Kids are the most fun, because they absorb everything.”

Q: What are some useful tips you would suggest to beginners to improve their skills?

A: “Definitely using lineup sticks during practice sessions.”

Q: What is the new computerized swing analysis program the club is using?

A: “It’s a launch monitor that allows us to check swing speed, ball speed, launch angle and spin rate…it tells you about the club and whether that one fits you or not, which helps us sell equipment.”

Q: What is one of the most common mistakes the average player makes?

A: “Lack of practice and most people have a tendency to slice.”

Q: What’s one of your weaknesses you struggle with as a player?

A: “What most people try to do, hitting it too far.”

Q: What equipment would you recommend to players?

A: “The TaylorMade RBZ RocketBallz club, it’s the hottest selling club we have right now.”
