JACKSON — Celebrate Spring by going Up, Up and Away and Letting the Sun Shine In with Florence LaRue & the Fifth Dimension live at Jackson Rancheria on Friday, April 6.

Experience all the great hits and exciting new material from this dynamic group from the swinging ‘60s, including “One Less Bell to Answer,” “Wedding Bell Blues,” “Last Night I Didn’t Get To Sleep” and the classic “Aquarius.”

The show is in the Grand Oak Ballroom at the Hotel. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. You must be 21 to attend. Food and beverages will be available.

Tickets are on sale now and are $40 for general admission, available online at, at the Dreamcatcher’s Club, and by phone at 209-296-5495. Dreamcatcher’s Club members can get discount tickets for just $20 at the club.

In 1967, a little known group called The 5th Dimension recorded “Up, Up, and Away,” which turned out to be one of the biggest hits in musical history. The single won five Grammy Awards and the group catapulted to stardom.

Preferring to be innovators rather than imitators, original member Florence LaRue, with Willie Williams, Leonard Tucker, Patrice Morris and Floyd Smith, have put together a show and sound that is truly the group’s own, with more vocal range than ever and material that is fresh and varied, while working hard to remain true to the sound of The 5th Dimension’s original recordings.

Jackson Rancheria Casino & Hotel is located at 12222 New York Ranch Road, Jackson. For more information, call 800-822-9466 or visit
