Linda J. Gardner lost her brave battle with cancer on March 22, surrounded by her family at home.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Vera. She resided at Duke Facilities, Inc for 12 years and developed a close relationship with staff and her housemates. She attended Valley CAPs and loved day program almost as much as she loved to eat or color.

She paid close attention to detail in her coloring and found great comfort from this. She missed having her parents around and has been reunited with them. Linda will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Memorial services will be held on April 18, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Park View Cemetery, scattering garden. Reception to follow at Valley CAPs.
