McKenzie Lee Hunt left the comfort of her mother’s womb and entered into Heaven on Friday, May 15, 2009. An Angel in the book of life wrote down her date of birth, and then whispered as she closed the book, “Too beautiful for Earth.”

Please try not to question God, don’t think he is unkind, don’t think he sent her to us then changed his mind. She’s the special gift that God needed, the product of our love. She’ll always be here with us. Watch the sky at night, find the brightest star that’s gleaming, that’s her halo’s brilliant light. The morning frost, that mists your window pane, that’s her in the summer showers, she’ll be dancing in the rain. When you feel a little breeze, from a gentle wind that blows, that’s her, she’ll be there, planting a kiss on your nose. And when you see children out playing and your heart feels a little tug, that’s McKenzie giving your heart a hug.

McKenzie is survived by her parents, Laura Littlefield-Hunt and Phillip Hunt, sister Chloe Hunt, grandparents; Paul and Becky Hunt, and grandmother Theresa Littlefield all of Manteca, great-grandparents Robert W. Hunt and Larry Lee Littlefield, Sr. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Larry Littlefield, and Uncle Robert Leroy Hunt.

Services for McKenzie are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 29, at 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  Interment will be at East Union Cemetery 1035 N. Union Rd., Manteca. An online guest book is also available for remembrances and signing at www.plfryandson.com
