Rindels earns two degrees from Biola

Michelle Rindels received two degrees on May 23 from Biola University.  She received a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in Spanish, and graduated Summa Cum Laude (3.96 GPA).  Biola University held its commencement exercises last Saturday at its La Mirada campus.  

Michelle was also inducted into the Epsilon Kappa Epsilon Scholastic Honor Society, graduated from the Torrey Honors Institute, and received the award for “Outstanding Journalism Student” at the university.  While at Biola, she was Editor-in-Chief of The Chimes, the college newspaper.  She will intern this summer for the Associated Press, Los Angeles Bureau.

Michelle was salutatorian of Sierra High School Class of 2005 and is the daughter of Dr. Mark and Yvette Rindels, formerly of Manteca, currently residing in Grass Valley.  Michelle worked for two years as a reporter and columnist for the Manteca Bulletin.
