STOCKTON - The Stockton Civic Theatre is inviting youth ’s summer youth program, SCT, Jr.
The annual summer program of acting, singing and dancing provides challenging, innovative, high-quality arts education opportunities to its students from June 18-Aug. 5.
All students enrolled this summer will participate in a full-scale musical production of “Little Mermaid Jr.” Dominee Muller-Kimball will direct, assisted by Judy Caruso Williamson, choreographer; Paul Kimball, musical director; and Ashley Kimball, assistant musical director. Students entering grades 3-6 will attend morning youth classes Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon. Students entering grades
7-12 will attend afternoon teen classes Monday through Thursday, 1 to 4 p.m. Performance dates will be Aug. 2-5..
Based on the Disney movie “Little Mermaid,” this production will feature songs like Sebastian’s “Under the Sea” and “Kiss the Girl”, Ariel’s “Part of Your World” , and Ursula’s “Poor Unfortunate Soul”, as well as new songs from the Disney Broadway hit musical, Flounder and the Mersisters’ “She‘s in Love”, and many more.

Enrollment is limited, so students need to get their enrollment forms in as soon as possible. Cost is $300 per student, $500 for two children in the same family.
