Modesto Symphony presenting Cirque de la Symphonie June 1-2

MODESTO — The Modesto Symphony Orchestra (MSO) led by Steve Reineke conducting his final concert as Principal Pops Conductor of the MSO, will present Cirque de la Symphonie on Friday, June 1, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at the Gallo Center for the Arts.

Tickets start at $15 and are available through the Gallo Center for the Arts Ticket Office at (209) 338-2100, Monday through Friday 10: a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays noon to 6 p.m. or at

The concert features aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, jugglers, balancers and strong-men all on stage with the Modesto Symphony Orchestra as they perform popular and well-known works.

Back by popular demand, Cirque de la Symphonie performed with the MSO in 2009 to a sold-out audience with Steven Reineke conducting in his first season as the MSO’s Principal Pops Conductor. Since becoming MSO’s Principal Pops Conductor, Mr. Reineke has been appointed as the Music Director of The New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, and Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He is also the newly appointed Principal Pops Conductor of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
