Donn Gregory Burnett, 62, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012, in LaQuinta. He was born May 27, 1950 in Gilroy.

Donn grew up in Gilroy and Salinas. He lived in Manteca for several years before moving to LaQuinta six months ago. His favorite pastime was golf.

Donn will be missed and fondly remembered for his great sense of  humor and quick wit. Donn was preceded in death by his father, Don Burnett and mother, Doris Burnett. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Rick) Magno; grandchildren, Jordyn and William; brother, Dennis (Sandy) Burnett; sister, Sandy (Craig) Wiese; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life for Donn will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Spreckels Volunteer Fire Co., 38 Spreckels Blvd., Spreckels, CA 93962.
