LATHROP - The Lathrop Celebration Committee is comnducting the South County Idol Competition taking place on Sunday, July 1, at 4 p.m. at Mossdale Community Park, 700 Towne Center Drive.

The singing competition will split participants into two age categories: age 12-16 years and age 17-ageless. Participation fee is only $5. Judging will be based on stage presence, attitude, attire, quality of sound/voice and overall performance. Awards will be presented in each category.
