Manteca City Councilman Vince Hernandez and his family are hosting a “South of the Border” breakfast for Manteca senior citizens Saturday morning beginning at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center on Cherry Lane.

Tickets have been limited to $5 and the menu includes chorizzo and eggs, ham and eggs, refried beans and potato patties, tortillas and salsa and apple juice and coffee.  Advanced sales have been limited to 150 tickets and a limited number of tickets will be sold at the door.

Hernandez’ son Sebastian and their daughter Ana are on tap to be on stage entertainment.  Sebastian will be on the guitar and Ana on the piano.

Hernandez said the proceeds of the breakfast will be given to the Manteca Senior Center.
