Adult Basketball

League play begins on July 25th this month for the Men’s basketball division. The deadline is Tuesday, July 17, and the fee per team is $250.  There is also a non-resident fee of $5 for every non-resident player. Games will be held all day on Sunday. Girls Softball Camp

Camp begins on Monday, July 16, and will run through Thursday, July 19. The camp is open to girls between 8 and 15 years old. The camp will run from 9 to 11 a.m. each day. Camp participants will learn basic fundamentals, game strategies, defensive skills, sportsmanship, plus hitting instruction. The program is $36 per person and will take place at Northgate Softball Complex. Golf Tournament

Jim Brown Memorial Swing For Youth Golf Tournament: This year the Friends Foundation’s 10th Annual Swing for Youth Golf Tournament is Friday, July 20, at Manteca Park Golf Course. Registration deadline is Monday, July 16. Tee time is 7:30 a.m. It is a reverse shotgun four person best-ball scramble. The cost is $85 per player or $320 per foursome. It includes use of golf cart, continental breakfast, course beverages, snacks, goodie bag, and lunch from Chez Shari. The golf tournament is presented by: the Friends of Manteca Parks and Recreation Foundation.
