Reba, Whiskey Dawn performing at Ironstone Vineyards on July 21

MURPHYS — Country music star Reba will be performing at Ironstone Vineyards on Saturday, July 21,  at 7:30 p.m. 

The concert will take place at the Ironstone Amphitheatre located at 1894 Six Mile Road in Murphys. Tickets start at $45 and can be purchased at or at  The opening act for Reba will be popular California country band Whisky Dawn. 

Often referred to as “The Queen of Country,” Reba is the biggest female hitmaker in Country Music history and has sold more than 56 million albums worldwide.  Reba has had 35 #1 singles, including the #1 hit “Turn On the Radio” from her most recent album All The Women I Am.  During her recent All The Women I Am tour, both Pollstar and Billboard’s Boxscore – the touring industry’s leading trade outlets – named her the #1 female Country touring artist, selling a combined total of over 9 million tickets.  The multi-platinum superstar has won 2 Grammy Awards, 15 American Music Awards, 13 ACM Awards, 9 People’s Choice Awards, and 6 CMA Awards.  She has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame.

Whisky Dawn, who will open for Reba, has broken the mold for “California Country.”  With the release of their first original album Dear Nashville, Whiskey Dawn’s popularity sky-rocketed and their music is now heard on country stations throughout the western United States. Whiskey Dawn performs more than 100 shows a year and has taken the stage with numerous Nashville acts including Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Clay Walker, Lady Antebellum and many more. Whiskey Dawn is now in the process of recording their sophomore album and have released a few new singles. Their new single “Leavin’ Man” can now be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.

Other performers in the 2012 Ironstone Vineyards Concert Series include Kelly Clarkson & The Fray with special guest Carolina Liar on July 28, John Fogerty on Aug. 3, Heart with special guest Bachman & Turner on Aug. 11, Tony Bennett with Jackie Evancho and the Stockton Symphony on Aug. 31, and Jeff Foxworthy on Sept. 8.
