Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

I was at In-Shape working out in the water aerobics class Monday evening at 5:30. I had a gold 3 diamond pendant around my neck. This necklace was given to me by my mother after my jewelry had been stolen in a burglary at my home quite a few years ago. This necklace has sentimental value to me.

Upon arriving home I discover the broken chain still around my neck and the pendant missing. I searched the bathroom and couldn’t find it. I assumed that since the chain was still around me it had to of broke in the bathroom while changing.

I called the gym and was told that a gentleman had just turned it in. The receptionist didn’t know his name. I want to sincerely thank him for returning my diamond pendant. Instead of feeling sad last night I was feeling happy and thankful that people care enough to return what isn’t theirs. I will pay this forward.
