STOCKTON - Delta College will host its 7th annual “New Student Welcome Day” is on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event is free.

Advanced sign-up is recommended online at: http://www.deltacollege.edu/dept/outreach/

The goal of New Student Welcome Day is to "Support academic success." Students will learn about college resources, take campus tours, purchase student ID’s, obtain library cards, purchase textbook and more.

Welcome Day will offer a Resource Fair throughout the morning in Delta's quad. Students will have the opportunity to meet with college representatives, learn about Delta's numerous educational opportunities, obtain helpful information regarding Financial Aid and Delta’s Special Programs and Services. Students may also tour the Goleman Library and learn about fall library skills workshops. Campus tours will be held every half hour.

•8 a.m. - Check-In

•9 a.m.  - Welcome/Information Session - Tillie Lewis Theater

•10 to 11:30 a.m.  - Campus Tours, every half hour, President’s Patio

•Noon -  Prize Give-A-Way on the Delta Quad
