Manteca Police officers were called to the Wells Fargo Bank branch at the corner of North Main and Center streets Tuesday afternoon to investigate a woman allegedly attempting to cash a stolen check.

Amanda Rose Daniels, 30, was arrested on two felony counts from a previous warrant including a forgery charge.  The Sheriff’s booking log indicated that she was also arrested on two other separate warrants – one for a forged prescription – and the second on a variety of unpaid court fees and failure to appear as ordered.

She was taken to the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp in lieu of $155,000 bail. Her court date was set for Wednesday at the Stockton Courthouse.  On Wednesday her bail was reduced to $135,000 and she will appear again today, Thursday, but in the Manteca Branch of the San Joaquin County Court.
