There is no compassionate slaughtering

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

Thank you for the column on the slaughtering (Dennis Wyatt: “Compassionate slaughtering: Give me a break”). You are absolutely right. There is no compassionate way to go about this process.

That those poor families that have lost income over this is sickening. Maybe they want cows euthanized by lethal injection! Let's see how that would fly with the USDA.

For the most part, our country consists of meat-eating families. This entire ordeal makes my blood boil.
