STOCKTON - Directed by Ric Campero, the Stockton Singers is a new choir in the Stockton Chorale family of choruses and is geared toward individuals who want to experience a variety of choral music and improve their singing skills, but without a strenuous rehearsal commitment. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church

316 N. El Dorado, Stockton, in the Guild Hall. Rehearsals start Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 5:30 p.m.

No audition is required, though some singing and music reading experience is always helpful. The Stockton Singers will sing in two joint performances per season with the full Stockton Chorale.

If you have the desire to sing great choral music, surround yourself with like-minded music lovers, and perform, the Stockton Singers is for you.

Conductor of the Stockton Singers, Campero, is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, Conservatory of Music. He is a dedicated music educator, teaching choir and band at Ceres Unified Schools for over 26 years. He also serves as the Chancel Choir director at Central United Methodist Church and is well known locally and abroad for his lyrical tenor vocal performances.

Registration forms are available from the Stockton Singers section of the Stockton Chorale website:  Registration dues are $85.
