The Delta Rebels varisty team remained perfect on the season with a 26-12 victory over the Stockton Bears at Lincoln High School Sunday.
The Bears got on the board first with a quick 6-0 lead, only to see the Rebels return the ensuing kickoff back for a Devyn Gonzales touchdown. Patrick Sholund help pad the lead for the Rebels from the backfield. James Sowards hauled in a touchdown pass from Joel Melena, putting the Rebels up for good.
A pair of key second half turnovers keyed the Rebels win, with Enrique Cardona recovering a fumble and Kamari Williams intercepting a Bears pass.
The Rebels will try and remain perfect on the season when they return to Stockton to take on the Vikings.

Jaguars Rookies
The Manteca Jaguars got quality performances from all over the field, including 123 rushing and a touchdown from Zane Salgado.
Jamari Hodge also had a nice o uting, rushing for 42 yards and a score. Fredo Ramirez had a pair of forced fumbles and Ricardo Villalvazo added seven solo tackles and a fumble recovery to pasce the defense. Hodge also recorded five tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
